1979: La Crosse Computer Systems is established to provide general accounting and payroll needs in the La Crosse, Wisconsin area.
1980: La Crosse Computer Systems is incorporated as La Crosse Computer Systems, Inc.
1983: La Crosse Computer Systems begins to focus on the NOMDA channel (now BTA - Business Technology Association).
1989: La Crosse Computer Systems is renamed to "La Crosse Management Systems Inc." to reflect the renewed focus on an integrated management system for office equipment dealerships.
1993: La Crosse Management Systems, Inc. is acquired by Tom Smith and John Brostrom.
1998: La Crosse Management Systems, Inc. acquires SMA Financials from Sterling Software. SMA Financials is renamed to "La Crosse Financials". La Crosse International, Inc. is founded. This transaction caps the final push to complete the development of La Crosse Nextgen, the future of automation in the office equipment industry.
1999: La Crosse Management Systems, Inc. becomes a global partner with Computer Associates.
2000: La Crosse Nextgen is released.
Present: La Crosse Nextgen knows no peers with respect to technology, richness of features, scalability of architecture, and completeness of implementation. La Crosse Nextgen is the choice for office equipment dealerships, and respected by independent dealers as well as manufacturers.
