La Crosse Asset Manager is specifically designed for La Crosse Financials users. Although it is an additional application with its own model, it is completely integrated with La Crosse Financials at the database level and shares many of the same components within La Crosse Financials.
The "clean sheet" development philosophy adopted for the La Crosse Financials, giving users maximum flexibility and control, has been continued with La Crosse Asset Manager.
La Crosse Asset Manager provides all the functionality required to manage an asset from the time it is acquired through to its eventual disposal/replacement.
The user definable components include:
Asset numbering
Depreciation books
Value types
Categories
Locations
Warranty types
Insurers
Leases
Asset Listing
Asset attributes
The concept of "soft attributes" introduced in La Crosse Financials has been significantly extended in La Crosse Asset Manager for asset attributes.
There is no limit to the number of user defined attributes that can be defined and recorded against an asset, allowing you to record any information you wish about an asset.
Asset attributes (like all other data held about an asset) can be used to select and sort assets in the user defined asset listing function. These asset lists can then be used with the mass maintenance functions or to form the basis for user defined reports.
