Ecommerce Meter Emailing is an additional feature for La Crosse Nextgen that allows you to automatically email a batch of meter reading requests to your customers. Each email contains a hyperlink that leads your customer to a meter reading entry website with their machines already displayed. The customer then simply enters meter readings for the appropriate machines, which saves you and your customers time and money, since you don't need to email, fax, or phone customers individually.

Ecommerce Meter Emailing can be accessed from the Work with Meter Reading Index Details grid after you run Create Meter Reading Index for a specified group of customers.
The Meter Email list provides information such as customer id, company name, contact id, contact name, and email address. You have options to email all unsent or email only selected lines in the list.
Ecommerce Meter Emailing sends emails automatically to a specified group of customers who are due to enter meter readings on their machines. An email is sent for each meter reading due on each machine for every customer in the index.
